Defying Gravity Academy is Newport’s home of cheerleading, dance and performance. A place where young athletes can hone their skills in a safe, focused and professional environment. As our academy grows we aim to broaden our horizons, setting not only new competitive goals for our teams but setting new community goals, looking for new and exciting ways to engage with the world around us to not only strengthen our performers as athletes but as people. We have a dedicated and rapidly expanding new facility just outside the city centre where our ability to reach higher has never been so exciting.
