The Big Splash is one of Newport’s largest free, family events. This year it’s jam packed with performances and shows across the city centre, from Friars Walk to Commercial Street to the Riverfront.

We need enthusiastic and dependable people who can support the festival by volunteering a few hours over the 2 days (wearing balloons is completely optional we promise!). You can get involved with assisting with performances, stewarding, helping the public and making our festival accessible to all.

Volunteers are needed for a minimum of three hours on either the 16^th or 17^th July plus be available for a training session on either Tuesday 5^th July between 6-8pm or Thursday 7th July  between 6-8pm. Once we have received your application we will contact you by the 24^th June to confirm your availability and role.
